Health Screening Conducted for Imported Cattle in Edirne
Authorized institutions in Edirne and Süloğlu completed health checks on imported cattle and collected the necessary samples.
A comprehensive screening was carried out by teams from the Provincial and Süloğlu District Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry in Edirne to examine the health status of cattle brought into the country.
Health Checks and Sample Collection
Technical personnel from the Provincial Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry and the Süloğlu District Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry conducted on-site inspections to monitor the health status of imported cattle across Edirne. As part of the checks, blood samples were taken from the animals for laboratory analysis.
Disease Prevention and Field Studies
In a statement made by authorities, it was stated that these inspections are meticulously continued in order to ensure the early diagnosis and containment of animal diseases, as well as to prevent potential risks of spread. It was reported that field studies will continue with the aim of supporting producers and safeguarding sustainable animal production.
