Healthcare Services Provided in City Hospitals in Turkey Announced

In a statement by the Ministry of Health, the figures for examinations and surgical operations reached in city hospitals across the country were shared.

The Ministry of Health announced that more than 455 million outpatient clinic services have been provided and approximately 12 million surgeries have been performed to date in the 27 city hospitals operating across Turkey.

Scope of Services and Facilities

In the statement made by the Ministry of Health, it was stated that city hospitals bring together diagnosis, treatment, surgery, rehabilitation, education, and research services within the same campus. It was expressed that this structure enables citizens to benefit from healthcare services in a holistic and effective manner.

Bed Capacity and Rooms

It was reported that city hospitals, possessing a bed capacity of approximately 40,000, offer citizens a high-standard treatment environment equipped with qualified patient rooms and modern health units.

Procedures Performed

Conveying that services are provided on a 24/7 basis in city hospitals, it was recorded that over 455 million outpatient clinic services have been provided and approximately 12 million surgeries have been carried out to date. It was emphasized that specialized and advanced surgical procedures are applied in operating rooms equipped with advanced technology.

Ongoing Projects

It was stated that with the completion of the 13 city hospitals currently under construction, the total bed capacity is planned to reach approximately 56,000. It was recorded that with the commissioning of the new hospitals, citizens' access to qualified healthcare services will accelerate.
