Hekim Birliği Applies to the Ministry of Health for Additional Payments and Personal Rights

Within the scope of the contacts made, the Union delegation met with Revolving Fund President Hasan Baytar, Additional Payment Department Head Halil Beyazkendir, and Investment Planning and Energy Efficiency Department Head Özkan Arslan.
Criticism of the Current Additional Payment System
Hekim Birliği stated that the current additional payment system is unpredictable and leads to income discrepancies among physicians doing the same job, creating problems.
Demand for Fixed and Variable Wage Ratios
It was demanded that at least 80 percent of total physician income be fixed and predictable, while variable incentive and performance payments be kept at a maximum level of 20 percent.
Income Losses During Legal Leaves
Income losses experienced in the additional payments of healthcare professionals due to legal leaves, primarily annual leave, and justified excuses were brought to the agenda during the talks.
Removal of Deductions in Additional Payments
Hekim Birliği conveyed its demand to the Ministry officials for the removal of deductions made from additional payments during periods of legal leave and excuses.
