HIU CARE Campaign Launches Health Screening in Ho Chi Minh City
Hong Bang International University and its hospital are providing health screening and counseling services to thousands of students and teachers at high schools in Ho Chi Minh City.
Hong Bang International University launched the HIU CARE 2026 program to support Ho Chi Minh City's 150-day universal health check-up campaign. As part of the campaign, comprehensive health screenings and counseling services are being provided to thousands of high school students and teachers.
Launch of the Campaign
Responding to Ho Chi Minh City's 150-day nationwide health check-up campaign, Hong Bang International University sent a team of doctors and medical personnel to high schools.
HIU CARE 2026 began its school health service journey in Ho Chi Minh City at Vo Thi Sau High School between September 14 and 16.
Objectives and Scope
The goals are to increase the number of individuals examined across the city, ensure early disease detection, and support long-term health management for citizens.
The program aims to provide health check-ups and updated health records for 25,000 high school students and teachers for the 2026-2027 academic year.
Participating Schools
While thousands of students and staff underwent health checks at Vo Thi Sau High School, approximately 10,000 people were reached across the first four schools.
Thousands of students at Hiep Binh, Nguyen Trung Truc, and Trung Vuong high schools also benefited from the screening program.
Provided Health Services
Students undergo physical development indicator assessments, vision tests, and examinations across various specialties at the school.
Doctors offer advice and guidance on common health issues among school-aged children.
