Information Event Held in Havza as Part of Public Health Week

As part of Public Health Week in the Havza district of Samsun, an informational event was held at Kevser Square to raise awareness about preventive health services, early diagnosis, and healthy living.
Booths Set Up at Kevser Square
During the event organized by the Havza District Directorate of Health at Kevser Square, citizens were informed about preventive health services, early diagnosis, and healthy living.
Detailed information regarding social support, nutrition, and psychological counseling services was provided to citizens at the set-up booths.
Health and Counseling Services Offered
Within the scope of the event, premarital counseling, reproductive health, pregnancy information, and preventive oral and dental health issues were addressed.
Additionally, informational activities were carried out for citizens regarding cancer early diagnosis and screening services.
Objective of Public Health Week
The aim was to take necessary precautions before diseases emerge, draw attention to the importance of early diagnosis, and increase awareness of healthy living.
Through the organization held, it was emphasized that citizens can benefit from these health services completely free of charge.
Expert Physician Emphasizes Regular Check-ups
Havza District Health Director Specialist Dr. Merve Doğan Uygun drew attention to the importance of Public Health Week for community health.
Uygun stated that early diagnosis provides a great advantage in the treatment of many diseases and emphasized the importance of regular check-ups.

Samsun Provincial Deputy Head of Public Health Services Specialist Dr. Duygu Suvacı and Havza Mayor Murat İkiz attended the event.
