International Rare Diseases and Autism Center Aimed to Be Established in Izmir

Former Minister of Youth and Sports and Head of the Turkish Grand National Assembly Commission, Dr. Mehmet Muharrem Kasapoğlu, announced that they aim to establish a center with an international mission in the field of rare diseases and autism during a meeting held at Izmir City Hospital.
Consultation Meeting Held
Important issues were discussed at the Izmir Rare Diseases Health Service Scope and Health Tourism Potential Consultation Meeting held within the body of Izmir City Hospital. Rare diseases, autism, health services, and Izmir's potential were addressed at the meeting.
Emphasis on Social Responsibility and Report
Mehmet Muharrem Kasapoğlu emphasized that rare diseases and autism constitute a major area of social responsibility. He stated that the prepared reports will not remain on shelves and that the issue will be carried to the entire country.
International Research Center Goal
The research and application center to be established within Izmir City Hospital in the field of rare diseases and autism is targeted to have an international mission. This center is intended to assume a critical role in terms of health tourism and scientific studies.
