Ca Mau aims to create a safe and healthy educational environment by prioritizing student health alongside teaching quality in the 2026-2027 academic year.

Collaboration Between Educational and Health Institutions

Since the beginning of the school year, strategic solutions have been implemented across the province in accordance with the directives of the Ministry of Education and Training and the Ministry of Health.

The coordination network from the provincial to the commune level has been strengthened, and school health services have been directly linked with local healthcare services.

Disease Prevention and Hygiene Efforts

Core tasks include preventing potential outbreaks in schools, applying chemical spraying to eliminate mosquitoes, and disinfecting the environment.

Coordination with local health authorities is maintained for the early detection of common illnesses such as dengue fever, hand, foot, and mouth disease, and seasonal flu.

Coordination Plan and Physical Conditions

The primary healthcare network and schools are being strengthened through a program signed between the Department of Education and Training and the Department of Health for the 2026-2030 period.

Schools guarantee access to clean water, standard toilets, proper lighting, and ergonomic equipment to prevent school-related conditions such as scoliosis.

Community Engagement and Sports Activities

Ta Thanh Vu, Deputy Director of the Department of Education and Training, stated that caring for student health requires the joint effort of the entire society.

In the new term, alongside the establishment of health services, physical education activities and school sports movements are also actively promoted.
