With the new decree issued by the government, it was decided that medical personnel will receive professional incentive allowances ranging from 30% to 80%, depending on their working environment and areas of expertise.

New Decree and Rates

The government has published and put into effect Decree No. 350/2026/ND-CP, which regulates the preferential allowance regime for medical personnel.

According to this regulation, the allowances to be received by healthcare workers are divided into rates ranging from 30% to 80%, depending on the field and working environment.

Who Does the Highest Rate Cover?

Among the specified rates, the highest incentive payment of 80% has been made applicable to two main groups.

Specialties in the First Group

Those working in the examination, treatment, testing, and care of psychiatric patients, as well as in the fields of forensic medicine and forensic psychiatry, will benefit from this right.

Medical Personnel in Critical Duties

Medical specialists who directly perform resuscitation, emergency care, intensive care, toxicology, and pathology duties are also included in the first group.

Incentive Payments by Region

The second group covers specialists working at commune-level health stations in border and island regions.

Healthcare Services in Challenging Geographies

Medical personnel working in preventive health facilities, disadvantaged communes, and ethnic minority and mountainous regions will also benefit from the highest allowance.
