Approximately 1,000 doctors and nurses participated in the fourth Healthcare Sector Job Fair to be employed in public hospitals, medical centers, and health stations in Ho Chi Minh City.

Purpose and Scope of the Job Fair

Organized by the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Health, the event aims to connect qualified healthcare personnel with hospitals, regional health centers, and health stations across the city.

Record Applications and Participant Profile

Associate Professor Tang Chi Thuong, Director of the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Health, announced that the healthcare sector job fair in 2026 reached the highest number of applications to date.

The vast majority of candidates applying to the event consist of young new graduate doctors who have completed their practical training and obtained their licenses.

Practical Training Pilot Program

The practical training pilot program implemented in hospitals affiliated with health centers for new graduate doctors enables young physicians to access the realities of public health.

This program also allows young healthcare personnel to closely understand the functioning of the primary healthcare system.

Direct Interviews and Preferences

At the fair, hospital managers conducted direct interviews with candidates, ensuring fairness and transparency in human resource selection.

It was emphasized that, as in similar fairs held in previous years, the number of doctors choosing to work in local health institutions has increased steadily.
