President Erdoğan's Statement on City Hospitals

Speaking at the opening ceremony of the Samsun City Hospital, President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan responded to past criticisms from the opposition, emphasized the importance of the projects, and announced that the hospital was brought to life with an investment of 17 billion liras.
New Health Investment in Samsun
Samsun City Hospital was built on an area of twenty-three thousand square meters using one thousand twenty-seven earthquake isolators. The facility serves with a bed capacity of one thousand four hundred fifty-eight.
Response to Opposition Criticisms
President Erdoğan reminded that the opposition had previously opposed the project by calling it a waste. He stated that none of the criticisms turned out to be true and that these facilities undertook important tasks during the pandemic period.
Hospital Equipment and Capacity
The new healthcare facility provides services with two hundred thirty intensive care beds and forty operating rooms. More than five thousand four healthcare personnel work at the hospital.
Healthcare Investments Across Turkey
It was announced that twenty-seven city hospitals have been completed nationwide. Additionally, construction works for thirteen city hospitals are ongoing.
