Preventive Health Training Organized for Public Personnel in Uşak

An information study for public employees was implemented within the framework of preventive health services in Uşak. In the training organized by the Uşak Community Health Center Healthy Life Center, issues concerning daily life and long-term health were addressed.

Scope and Objective of the Training

An information study was carried out for public employees within the scope of preventive health services in Uşak, and the program was conducted for the personnel of the Uşak Provincial Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry.

Six Important Headings Addressed

Participants were given detailed information on combating addiction and healthy habits, early diagnosis and screening in cancer, oral and dental health, protection from chronic diseases, rational drug use, and healthy aging.

Early Diagnosis and Chronic Diseases

The program emphasized the precautions that can be taken before a disease occurs and the importance of regular health check-ups, conveying methods for cancer screenings and the prevention of chronic diseases.

Quality of Life and Awareness

In different parts of the training, the correct and conscious use of medications, the protection of oral and dental health, and healthy living habits that will contribute to maintaining the quality of life in advanced ages were explained.
