Privatization of Healthcare Real Estate in Eskişehir on Parliament's Agenda
The privatization of four healthcare properties in Eskişehir and allegations of bureaucratic error have been brought to the parliamentary agenda.
YENİ Party PM Member and Eskişehir Deputy İbrahim Arslan brought the privatization process of four healthcare properties in Eskişehir and allegations of bureaucratic error to the Grand National Assembly of Turkey (TBMM) with two new written parliamentary questions.
Parliamentary Question on Healthcare Real Estate
YENİ Party PM Member and Eskişehir Deputy İbrahim Arslan brought the privatization process of four healthcare properties in Eskişehir to the agenda of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey with two new written parliamentary questions.
Arslan asked Minister of Health Kemal Memişoğlu and Minister of Treasury and Finance Mehmet Şimşek for the details of the process and the legal status of the properties.
Which Properties Are Covered
Among the properties included in the parliamentary question are the former State Hospital area and the Yunusemre State Hospital 2 Eylül Service Building, known as the former Air Hospital.
Additionally, the list includes Mihalıççık Gün Sazak State Hospital and Sivrihisar Family Health Center.
History of Privatization Decisions
It was stated that the process regarding the former State Hospital area was included in the scope of privatization by Presidential decrees on March 17, and the other three healthcare properties on April 24.
Deputy İbrahim Arslan emphasized that they have kept the issue on the parliamentary agenda since March and are following the process.
Ministries' Response Status
It was stated that the Ministry of Treasury and Finance responded to previous questions by stating that the procedures were carried out by the Privatization Administration.
It was pointed out that the Ministry of Health has left previous written parliamentary questions regarding the same healthcare areas unanswered.
Bureaucratic Error Discussions
It was recalled that AKP Eskişehir Deputy Nebi Hatipoğlu described the inclusion of the former Air Hospital in the scope of privatization as a technical and bureaucratic error.
In line with this statement, Arslan demanded that the process be explained to the public with all its aspects and details.
