Şanlıurfa Provincial Health Director Berk's Call to Cancel MHRS Appointments
Şanlıurfa Health Director Erhan Berk called on citizens to cancel their MHRS appointments if they are unable to attend.
Şanlıurfa Provincial Health Director Assoc. Prof. Dr. Erhan Berk stated that citizens must cancel their MHRS appointments in advance if they will not be able to attend, in order to use healthcare services more effectively.
Critical Call for Appointment Cancellation
Şanlıurfa Provincial Health Director Assoc. Prof. Dr. Erhan Berk requested citizens to be sensitive about their MHRS appointments for the more efficient use of healthcare services.
It was stated that individuals who make an appointment but cannot come to the healthcare facility must cancel their appointments, otherwise access for other citizens becomes difficult.
2026 MHRS Data
Across the province, the total MHRS appointment capacity reached 3,048,709 as of 2026.
While the number of examinations based on MHRS stood at 4,038,316, a total of 2,163,072 appointments were completed.
Appointment Fulfillment Rates
The fulfillment rate of appointments across Şanlıurfa was recorded at 81.5 percent.
On the other hand, the non-attendance rate for appointments was included among the official data as 18.5 percent.
High Utilization in District Hospitals
The 2026 data showed that capacity utilization rates in district hospitals reached quite high levels.
Bozova State Hospital reached 115.54 percent, Hilvan State Hospital 113.25 percent, and Halfeti State Hospital 104.18 percent.
Situation of Hospitals in the City Center
Capacity utilization at Balıklıgöl State Hospital in downtown Şanlıurfa was realized at 91.82 percent.
Mehmet Akif İnan Training and Research Hospital saw a rate of 88.33 percent and Şanlıurfa Training and Research Hospital 78.17 percent.
Family Medicine Additional Access Application
To facilitate access to hospital appointments, additional access opportunities are provided through family medicine.
As a result of the family physician's evaluation, patients deemed appropriate are granted an additional opportunity for a hospital appointment under this application.
