The universal scope of routine and free health check-ups for all citizens across Phu Tho province and Van Xuan commune is being gradually expanded. Over the past eight months, millions of people have undergone health screenings, and electronic health records are being integrated into the VNeID system.
Scheduled health screenings in Van Xuan commune
Residents from villages 33 to 38 at the Quang Huc Health Center underwent health check-ups in turns.
With the coordination of local authorities and the health sector, active public participation was encouraged, bringing health services closer to homes.
Forms distributed to households and target groups
The commune health station distributed information collection forms to approximately 7,800 households to identify eligible individuals.
It was reported that the total number of individuals across five groups requiring check-ups in 2026 is approximately 17,900.
Expanding screening scale across the province
According to the Ministry of Health report, more than 2.6 million people across the province underwent free periodic health check-ups in the past eight months.
With a population of about 4 million, the free health screening coverage rate in the province reached 65.85 percent.
Diversified examination methods and locations
During the eight-month period, examinations were conducted at health stations, other medical facilities, and through mobile campaigns.
The establishment of numerous examination points facilitated access particularly for citizens in sparsely populated areas.
Integration of electronic health records into VNeID
According to data from the Ministry of Public Security's C06, as of September 2026, more than 1.4 million electronic health records have been integrated into the VNeID system.
While this integration rate was recorded at 36.28 percent, it was noted that efforts are continuing regularly.
Proactive health management and early detection goal
The primary goal of the program is not only to increase the number of examinations, but also to detect health risks early and provide regular health management.
This practice represents a transition to a modern healthcare approach focused on disease prevention and early detection before diseases manifest.
