The system's wrist-worn screenless device, Luffu Link, connects its owner to their family, combining a classic activity wristband with a family health log, location tracking system, medication reminder, and help button on the same wrist.
Shared Care Approach
Going beyond an individual focus, the device is based on the reality that care is shared.
The screenless wristband tracks daily movements, steps, heart rate, heart rate variability, and sleep, notifying the family of meaningful changes from the normal pattern.
Voice Recording and Communication
Featuring a voice recording function to overcome data entry issues for elderly individuals, Luffu Link allows users to record information such as blood pressure medication, meals, symptoms, and mood verbally.
Additionally, the device includes features to send an 'I'm okay' message by tapping twice or to transmit location information to pre-determined contacts using the help button.
Release Date and Pricing
Rather than calling emergency services directly, the system sends messages to pre-designated relatives.
The device is planned to be released primarily in the US in early 2027 with a pre-order price of approximately $250 and a monthly subscription requirement for a family plan.
