Türk Sağlık-Sen has made an official application against the photographing of employees while swiping cards within the scope of the Personnel Attendance Control System implemented at the Forensic Medicine Institution.

It was reported that within the framework of the Personnel Attendance Control System put into practice within the Forensic Medicine Institution, photographs of the personnel are recorded while they perform the card-swiping process at work entry and exit.
Grounds of the Union
In the official statement made by Türk Sağlık-Sen, it was stated that tracking working hours is already possible through card swiping and that taking additional photo records is unnecessary.
It was voiced that the practice could create various legal problems in terms of the protection of personal data, the privacy of private life, and the principles of proportionality.

In the application made, reference was made to the decisions of the Personal Data Protection Board and the current relevant legislation to address the legal aspects of the process.
