Four Days of Contacts in Konya

A 15-member high-level health delegation from Uzbekistan visiting Turkey examined the health infrastructure and service processes within the scope of a special four-day program held at Başkent University Konya Hospital.

The guest delegation, consisting of doctors, hospital administrators, and sector representatives, had the opportunity to closely observe current practices in the field of medicine and the technological infrastructure.

Emphasis on International Cooperation

Başkent University Konya Hospital Central Director Assoc. Prof. Dr. M. Volkan Akdoğan stated that these contacts carried out on an international scale, specifically with Uzbekistan, are of great value.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Miralimov Mir Muhiddin Mir Tursunovich, a faculty member at the Tashkent Institute for Professional Development of Medical Personnel, emphasized the importance of the long-standing professional solidarity between the two countries.

Ankara Visit and Continuation of the Program

Following the completion of the Konya program, the delegation visited Başkent University facilities in Ankara, hosted by Prof. Dr. Mehmet Haberal.

Thanks to these mutual visits and examinations, it is aimed to carry the joint works in the field of health between the two countries even further.
