Within the scope of the investigation conducted by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, 419 accounts and related links determined to have shared obscene content on social media platforms were blocked from access.

Scope and Justification of the Investigation

Within the framework of the investigation conducted by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, legal steps were taken against inappropriate posts published on the internet.

With these steps taken, it was aimed to protect the family, children, and young people from all kinds of abuse.

Accounts Subject to Access Ban

As a result of the work carried out under the coordination of the Bureau of Investigation for Informatics Crimes, the determinations were completed.

An access ban decision was implemented for 419 accounts and related links determined to have shared obscene content on social media platforms.

Responsible Law Enforcement Units

The operational work carried out was executed by the teams of the Istanbul Provincial Police Department's Cyber Crimes Branch.
