Ali Tarakci Arrested Due to Social Media Resignation Post
Within the framework of an investigation conducted in Ankara, a suspect who spread a false resignation claim on social media was arrested by the court.
Ali Tarakci, who made an unfounded post on social media claiming that a minister would resign, was arrested and sent to prison within the scope of the investigation launched by the Ankara Chief Public Prosecutor's Office.
Initiation of the Investigation
A legal process was initiated by the Press Crimes Investigation Bureau of the Ankara Chief Public Prosecutor's Office following the posts on social media.
Detention and Courthouse Process
Suspect Ali Tarakci, whose procedures at the security directorate were completed, was then referred to the Ankara Courthouse to be interrogated.
Court Decision
Following his statement at the prosecutor's office, Tarakci was brought before the duty criminal judgeship of peace, which ruled for his arrest.
