Within the scope of the investigation launched by the Ankara Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, she was detained by the Security Branch Directorate teams of the Istanbul Police Department.
It was stated that after the completion of her legal procedures at the police station, Laçin would give her statement via the SEGBİS system through the Istanbul Anadolu Chief Public Prosecutor's Office.

It was reported that the ongoing judicial investigation is being handled within the framework of the crime of inciting or humiliating the public to hatred and hostility, as set forth in Article 216 of the Turkish Penal Code.
