In an incident in the Mexican state of Nuevo León, social media influencer Cinthya Abigail Tamez Rivera shot and killed her partner and three children before taking her own life. The prosecution's investigation into the incident, in which five people lost their lives, is ongoing.
Discovery of the Incident
The lifeless bodies of five people were found in the city of Montemorelos, in Mexico's Nuevo León state. Authorities launched a comprehensive investigation at the scene and deepened the inquiry.

Authorities found Cinthya Tamez and her 2-year-old son Gustavo dead inside a vehicle. In a house approximately 400 meters away, the bodies of her partner Leodegario Moya Garza and her other two sons, Bruno and Cristian, were discovered.
Prosecution and Forensic Findings
Nuevo León Attorney General Javier Flores Saldívar stated that initial forensic examinations revealed findings regarding the sequence of events. It was determined that the shell casings from the .38 caliber handgun recovered in the vehicle matched those found at the house.
Condition of the Children and Possibility of Argument
It was noted that Bruno and Cristian, who were found in the house, may have tried to hide behind the sofa after hearing the gunshots directed at their father. Authorities are focusing on the possibility that the incident occurred following a domestic argument.

Tamez, who had more than 70,000 followers, shared a video filmed from a moving vehicle containing angry expressions on her social media account just hours before her death.
