Extradition of Criminals Sought with Red Notice

Minister Çiftçi stated that Georgia has extradited 438 persons sought with a red notice to Turkey within this year, emphasizing that members of organized crime syndicates cannot escape justice by fleeing abroad and that tracking will continue.

Foreign Visits and International Cooperation

Stating that he will pay official visits to countries such as Greece, Germany, and Italy in the upcoming period for the extradition of leaders and members of organized crime syndicates, Çiftçi expressed that criminals will be captured no matter where they are in the world.

Cyber Patrols and Shut-Down Web Pages

Stating that 24/7 uninterrupted patrol activities are carried out in the cyber domain, Interior Minister Mustafa Çiftçi announced that as a result of these efforts, 40,000 web pages were shut down this year and access bans were imposed on 73,000 social media accounts.

Stating that crimes committed in the cyber realm victimize real people, Çiftçi noted that within the scope of inspections carried out, 62,500 illegal betting sites were also shut down and a total of 184,000 elements of crime were detected.
