Teams from the Mersin Provincial Gendarmerie Command launched an operation against individuals who opened fake accounts on social media to reach citizens, seized obscene images, and engaged in blackmail.
Simultaneous Raids
As a result of the efforts carried out under the instructions of the Erdemli Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, simultaneous operations were carried out targeting 5 suspects whose identities were identified.
Seized Evidence
During searches conducted at the homes and on the persons of the suspects, 9 mobile phones, 3 SIM cards, 2 identity cards belonging to other individuals, and 32 synthetic pharmaceutical pills were seized.
Judicial Process and Warnings
Referenced to the courthouse after their procedures at the gendarmerie, 4 of the suspects were arrested, while 1 person was released under judicial control conditions.
