The 5th Legislative Year of the 28th Term of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey Opens
At the opening of the new legislative year, President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan will address the General Assembly, and on the evening of the first day, Speaker of the Parliament Numan Kurtulmuş will host a reception.
As the recess of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey comes to an end, the 5th Legislative Year of the 28th Term will commence its work with a special session to be held on Thursday, October 1, at 14:00.

Turkish Red Crescent Bill
First in the General Assembly, the Turkish Red Crescent Bill, which could not be debated despite being submitted to the Parliament in the previous legislative year, is expected to be addressed. Consisting of a total of nine articles, the bill regulates the rights and exemptions of the Red Crescent.
Booking.com Regulation
Another topic expected to come to the Parliament's agenda will be a legislative proposal aimed at paving the way for the digital accommodation platform Booking.com to resume its operations in Turkey.
13th Judicial Package and Social Media
While the 13th Judicial Package, one of the important topics of the new legislative year, is planned to be introduced within the month of October, the package also includes steps stipulating identity verification for logging into social media platforms.
Monitoring Committee Activities
With the start of the new legislative year, a monitoring committee is expected to be established to enable the Parliament to follow the works carried out regarding the resolution process.
