187 Million Liras Allocated for Youth Sports Infrastructure in Yalova
Giant financing was provided from the Provincial Special Administration budget in Yalova to bring children and youth together with sports and keep them away from bad habits.
Yalova Governor Ahmet Hamdi Usta announced that approximately 187 million liras of resources have been allocated from the Provincial Special Administration budget within the scope of sports investments implemented and planned across the city.
Purpose and Scope of Investments
Yalova Governor Ahmet Hamdi Usta stated that they are focusing on investments to ensure that children and youth grow up intertwined with sports and to spread the sports culture throughout the city. In addition, these efforts, which aim to keep the youth away from bad habits, carry great importance.
New Mini Sports Facilities for Villages
Announcing that 10 mini sports facilities will be built in the villages, Governor Usta noted that 28 million liras of resources were provided for these investments from the Ministry of Youth and Sports, and all works are carried out under the coordination of the Provincial Special Administration.
School Sports Infrastructure and Other Projects
An additional allocation of 25 million liras was set aside to strengthen the sports infrastructure of schools. On the other hand, the cost of the 500-spectator capacity sports hall project in Hacımehmet village was increased to 110 million liras, and an 18-million-lira sports complex will be brought to Fıstıklı village.
Support for Amateur Clubs and Fields
Grandstands will be built at the football fields in Akköy, Safran, and Sugören villages. The Provincial Special Administration continues to provide uninterrupted equipment and facility support to amateur sports clubs and schools.
Water Resources and Other Investments
Yalova Governor Usta added that smart meter systems and pond investments are also being carried out simultaneously across the city in order to protect and efficiently use water resources.
