Regional Amateur League team Turgutluspor appointed 22-year-old Zeynep Mestan as their head coach as part of their new season restructuring, marking a first in the club's history.
A First in Club History
In line with the new season restructuring and objectives at Turgutluspor, 22-year-old Zeynep Mestan was brought in as head coach.
Born in Izmir on July 30, 2004, the young coach earned the title of being the club's first female head coach with this move.
Signing Ceremony Held
An official signing ceremony was held at the club headquarters for the new head coach Zeynep Mestan.
Following the ceremony, the young coach signed her official contract and officially began her duties.
Playing Career
Having previously had a playing career in the Women's 3rd League, Zeynep Mestan first stepped onto the green pitches in 2019.
During her playing years, Mestan wore the jerseys of Karşıyaka Beden Eğitimi ve Spor Eğitim Merkezi Spor, Konak Belediyespor, Bornova Hitab Spor, Soma Zafer Spor ve Gençlik, and Bornova Genç Yıldızlar Spor respectively.
