A 1.15 billion TL investment launched for the renewal of sports facilities in Bayrampaşa

A massive investment program totaling 1 billion 150 million TL has been implemented in partnership with the Ministry of Youth and Sports and the Bayrampaşa Municipality to renew sports facilities and strengthen infrastructure in the district.

Investment and Ceremony Details

The promotion and groundbreaking ceremony for the 1 billion 150 million TL investment aimed at developing and renewing sports facilities in the district was held in cooperation with the Ministry of Youth and Sports and the Bayrampaşa Municipality.

Minister of Youth and Sports Osman Aşkın Bak, Istanbul Governor Davut Gül, and protocol members attended the program held at the Mega Center Sports Facilities.

Facilities to be Renewed

Within the scope of the project, the Arda Turan, Semih Erden, Necip Uysal, Cevatpaşa, and Mega Center sports facilities located in the district are planned to be completely overhauled.

Comprehensive improvement and reinforcement works will also be carried out in other sports areas in Bayrampaşa.

New Sports Complex and Stadium Project

Minister Osman Aşkın Bak announced that the existing hall at the Bayrampaşa Stadium will be demolished and replaced with a new complex featuring a sports hall, swimming pool, and training center.

Additionally, it was stated that the stands of the Bayrampaşa Stadium will be completely renewed and the tender for the project will be held in a short time.

National Sports Investments

Minister of Youth and Sports Osman Aşkın Bak stated that a major revolution has taken place in the field of institutionalization and infrastructure across Turkey.

Minister Bak noted that Istanbul is preparing for the 2027 European Games and that Turkey's third largest stadium in Ankara is nearing completion.
