Within the scope of the Amateur Sports Week events organized nationwide by the Ministry of Youth and Sports and the Confederation of Amateur Sports Clubs, a cortege march and sporting demonstrations were held in Denizli.

Cortege march was held

The march, which started in front of the Governorate and extended to the 15 July Delikliçınar Martyrs' Square, was carried out accompanied by the Metropolitan Municipality Band.

Protocol members, athletes from various branches, and sports-loving citizens of all ages showed intensive participation in the event.

Sporting demonstrations were held in the square

Following the march, introductions of various branches were carried out in the area specially set up in the 15 July Delikliçınar Martyrs' Square.

Different groups of athletes presented their prepared displays to the participants, ensuring colorful moments.

Statements by Süleyman Erdoğan

Provincial Director of Youth and Sports Süleyman Erdoğan emphasized the role of amateur sports in raising youth as healthy, happy, and moral individuals.

Erdoğan stated that Turkish sports rise on the shoulders of amateurs and expressed that they will continue to mobilize opportunities to introduce children to sports.
