Adaptation Process to Istanbul and the Team
The twenty-one-year-old young footballer, transferred from Lokomotiv Moscow, stated that changing countries, cities, and teams after staying at the same club for fifteen years was not easy.
Stating that he has learned a few basic Turkish words so far, the player expressed that he focuses mainly on English in order to quickly adapt to his new environment.
City Life and Food Culture
Mentioning the intense interest people in Moscow and Istanbul show in football, Batrakov stated that compared to Moscow, he is frequently recognized here despite wearing a hat and glasses.
Touching upon the food culture in Turkey, the young player stated that he ate kebab three times within the first week of arriving in Istanbul.
Champions League and Adaptation
Stating that playing his first match in the Galatasaray jersey and playing in the Champions League was a childhood dream, the footballer emphasized that this experience is very special for him.
Conveying that his teammate Lucas Torreira provided him with great support during the adaptation process, Batrakov noted that his next biggest goal is to score a goal in the Champions League.
