Amateur Sports Week Commences in Edirne with Wreath-Laying Ceremony

The wreath-laying ceremony was held at the Atatürk Monument as part of the Amateur Sports Week events celebrated in Edirne from October 5 to 11.
The ceremony at the Atatürk Monument was attended by Acting Provincial Director of Youth and Sports Zekeriya Bayrak, President of the Edirne Amateur Sports Clubs Federation Muzaffer Yıldırım, branch managers, coaches, and students.
Moment of Silence and Opening Speeches
Beginning with the laying of the Provincial Directorate of Youth and Sports wreath at the monument, the ceremony continued with a moment of silence accompanied by the Edirne Municipality band and the singing of the National Anthem.
Acting Provincial Director of Youth and Sports Zekeriya Bayrak stated that amateur sports are the foundation of Turkish sports and thanked amateur sports clubs and stakeholders who contribute to sports.
