Arnavutköy Municipality Summer Sports Schools Conclude with Ten Thousand Youths
The summer schools, which offered free sports training to ten thousand young people for ten weeks, concluded with a ceremony at the Arnavutköy Indoor Sports Hall.
The Summer Sports Schools, implemented by the Arnavutköy Municipality to enable children to spend their summer holidays productively, concluded with the participation of ten thousand young people. A closing program was organized following the entirely free training sessions provided in twelve different branches.
Ten Thousand Young People Meet with Sports
The Summer Sports Schools organized in Arnavutköy to help children and youth discover their talents have successfully ended. Approximately 10,000 young people received training in the completely free program.
Training in Twelve Different Branches
The activities, carried out under the guidance of expert instructors in facilities across the district, lasted for 10 weeks. Students received training in 12 different branches ranging from football to basketball, volleyball, swimming, and archery.
Closing at the Indoor Sports Hall
The finale of the sports journey took place with a program held at the Arnavutköy Indoor Sports Hall. The mayor, protocol members, students, and their families showed great interest in the ceremony.
Colorful Performances Staged
Following the opening speeches, young athletes presented demonstrations in areas such as gymnastics, karate, volleyball, and archery. The program also featured various stage performances.
Emphasis on Future Athletes
Speaking at the closing ceremony, Arnavutköy Mayor Mustafa Candaroğlu touched upon the importance of sports. Young people were called upon to make sports a part of their lives.
New Educational Support Announced
Within the scope of the program, supports for the upcoming new academic year were also announced. It was stated that stationery aid applications have started and an announcement for university students will be made on September 28.
Medal and Certificate Ceremony
The event continued with the presentation of medals and certificates to the students who received training throughout the summer. The ceremony concluded with participants taking commemorative photos.
