BWB Next Up Men's Camp Concludes in Istanbul

The Basketball Without Borders Next Up Men's Camp, organized by the NBA and FIBA, has concluded in Istanbul, while Turkish National Player Darius Karutasu and Turkish-origin Yahya Başaran have been invited to the BWB All-Star Camp in the US.

The first-ever Basketball Without Borders Next Up Men's Camp, held as part of the 25th anniversary of the NBA and FIBA organization, took place in Istanbul. The closing ceremony of the organization was held at the Turkcell Basketball Development Center.

Award-Winning Young Athletes

At the ceremony, awards were presented to participants who stood out on the court and with their leadership qualities. Athletes from various countries won awards for most valuable player, sportsmanship, three-point contest, best defender, and playoff MVP.

Invitees to the All-Star Camp in the US

Alongside Darius Karutasu and Yahya Başaran, who displayed the best performances at the camp in Istanbul, a total of 10 athletes from different countries around the world earned the right to participate in the BWB All-Star camps to be held in the US early next year.

International Participation and Star Trainers

The 4-day organization, which started on August 26, was attended by 78 high school-aged athletes from 44 countries. The athletes had the opportunity to receive direct training from renowned NBA coaches, players, and legends.
