Chelsea come from 2-0 down to beat Leeds United 6-3 and advance

In the third round of the English League Cup, Chelsea came from two goals down against Leeds United at Stamford Bridge to win 6-3 and advance to the next round.

Playing at Stamford Bridge in the English League Cup third round, Leeds United took the lead in the 23rd minute with a goal by Tomas Muharemovic and ended the first half ahead.

Right at the start of the second half, in the 48th minute, Brenden Aaronson scored to double the lead.

Chelsea's Swift Comeback and Goals

Falling 2-0 behind, Chelsea reduced the deficit to 2-1 in the 53rd minute with a penalty goal from Cole Palmer. Just two minutes after this goal, in the 55th minute, Cole Palmer stepped up once again to level the score at 2-2.

In the 60th minute of the match, Pedro Neto's goal put the home side 3-2 ahead, while Danny Welbeck made it 4-2 in the 65th minute to extend the lead.

The Finale of the Match and Qualification

Although Leeds United gave themselves hope by making it 4-3 with a goal from Dominic Calvert-Lewin in the 75th minute, Chelsea responded shortly after. The home team extended their lead to 5-3 in the 80th minute thanks to a goal by Valentin Barco.

The goal sealing the final score came once again from Danny Welbeck in the 90+4th minute, as Chelsea emerged victorious with a 6-3 scoreline.
