Closing Ceremony Held for Summer Sports Schools in Sultangazi
Thousands of children performed at the closing ceremony of the 7th Summer Sports Schools organized by Sultangazi Municipality, and successful athletes were awarded their certificates.
At the 7th Summer Sports Schools Closing Ceremony held at the Sultangazi Municipality Event Area, 15,000 students aged between 7 and 18 showcased the skills they acquired during the summer break.

15 Thousand Students Received Training
Throughout the summer vacation, nearly 15,000 children and young people aged 7-18 received sports training in 24 different branches under the guidance of expert trainers.
Certificates Awarded to Successful Athletes
Sultangazi Mayor Abdurrahman Dursun presented certificates to the students who showed outstanding success in the summer sports schools at the ceremony area.
Goal to Keep Youth Away from Digital Media
Mayor Abdurrahman Dursun emphasized that one of their main objectives is to keep young people away from digital media and make sports a natural part of life.
European City of Sport Title
Reminding that Sultangazi was declared a European City of Sport by ACES in 2025, officials announced that winter sports schools will also begin soon.
