Container Gym Added to Bostanlı Sports Station

Izmir Metropolitan Municipality has put a new container gym into service within the Sports Station on Bostanlı Beach. Citizens can do outdoor fitness and strength exercises while obtaining various sports equipment using their ID cards.

New Container Gym in Bostanlı

With the Gym Container placed on Bostanlı Beach by Izmir Metropolitan Municipality, citizens are provided with the opportunity to do outdoor fitness and basic strength exercises. These new facilities in the area have been made accessible to sports enthusiasts.

Citizens can also obtain balls and various equipment belonging to different sports branches to use completely free of charge by presenting their ID cards.

Scope of Sports Stations

Implemented for the first time in Turkey in Izmir after Mayor Cemil Tugay took office, the Sports Stations are gradually expanding their service area thanks to new applications.

Stations located in Kültürpark, Bostanlı Beach, Buca Hasanağa Park, Bornova Aşık Veysel Recreation Area, and Göztepe Beach are being enriched with equipment that citizens can benefit from free of charge.

Future Plans and Working Hours

Izmir Metropolitan Municipality plans to add container gyms to the sports stations in the Buca and Bornova regions in the upcoming period.

Operating throughout the summer season, the Sports Stations welcome citizens every day between Monday and Saturday from 08:00 to 22:00.
