As part of the Fenerbahçe facilities transformation project, the Metin Aşık Camp Building has been demolished, taking the first step toward the construction of a new sports center.
Within the scope of the Fenerbahçe Dereağzı Lefter Küçükandonyadis Facilities renewal and transformation project, the first step was taken for the Dereağzı Lefter Küçükandonyadis Olympic Academy Project, with demolition work beginning on the Metin Aşık Camp Building.
First Step in the Project
Today, the first official step was taken in the Dereağzı Lefter Küçükandonyadis Olympic Academy Project, which will be implemented within the scope of the renewal and transformation project.
Demolition Work Begins
Within the scope of the project, which will proceed step-by-step, demolition work started at the Metin Aşık Camp Building—previously announced to be rebuilt—following the completion of evacuation procedures.
New Multifunctional Building
Upon the completion of the demolition work, the construction process for the new multifunctional building that will serve the Football Academy and the Women's Football Team will begin.
Comprehensive Facility Amenities
The new camp building will house areas where athletes can train and stay, as well as sections designated for the use of technical and medical teams.
