Fenerbahçe Athletes Return with Medals from the Mediterranean Games
At the 2026 Mediterranean Games held in Taranto, Italy, Fenerbahçe athletes achieved significant rankings in boxing, volleyball, sailing, and table tennis branches.
On the eighth day of the 2026 Mediterranean Games ongoing in Taranto, Italy, Fenerbahçe athletes competed in four different branches. In the boxing branch, Mehmethan Çınar won a gold medal to reach the championship, while Sema Çalışkan completed the organization with a silver medal.

In the boxing competitions, Fenerbahçe athletes exhibited a superior performance. Mehmethan Çınar won the gold medal to place at the top of the podium, while Sema Çalışkan achieved a significant success by obtaining the silver medal.
Successful March of Volleyball Teams
The Women's National Volleyball Team defeated Greece 3-1 to finish the group stage as the undefeated leader and advanced to the semifinals. The team will face Serbia on August 29 on the path to the final.
Meanwhile, the Men's National Volleyball Team secured a clear 3-0 victory against Greece, continuing their three-game winning streak in the tournament.
Table Tennis and Sailing Races
In the table tennis branch, the Women's National Team showed the success of advancing to the semifinals, whereas the Men's National Team was defeated 3-2 by France.
In the sailing branch, Fenerbahçe Doğuş Sailing Branch athletes started competing in the IQFOIL, ILCA 7, and ILCA 6 categories.
