Transferring to Swedish side IFK Norrköping at the age of nineteen, Oppong was loaned out to GIF Sundsvall in two different periods to continue his development.

French Adventure and Performance

Following his effective performance in the Swedish leagues, the Ghanaian defender transferred to Nice in the summer of 2025, where he played in 43 official matches.

During his time wearing the French club's jersey, he achieved the success of staying on the pitch for a total of 3,465 minutes across all competitions.
