Fenerbahçe's UEFA Champions League Squad Announced
Returning to the Champions League after an eighteen-year break, the yellow-navy club announced its UEFA squad ahead of the Roma match.
Having finished the Süper Lig in second place and successfully passing three qualifying rounds, Fenerbahçe has publicly announced the squad with which it will compete in the UEFA Champions League, to which it returns after 18 years.
Champions League Return
Finishing the Süper Lig in second place last season, Fenerbahçe earned the right to play qualifiers to participate in the UEFA Champions League.
Successfully passing all three qualifying rounds it played, the yellow-navy team managed to return to the Champions League after a long break of 18 years.
Names Left Out of the Squad
A total of four football players were not included in the final squad submitted by Fenerbahçe to UEFA for the UEFA Champions League.
In line with the technical staff's preference, Çağlar Söyüncü, Jayden Oosterwolde, Rodrigo Becao, and Mert Hakan Yandaş were not included in the squad.
First Match Schedule
Preparing to play its first match in the premier European competition, the yellow-navy team will play its first match against Roma on September 10.
