Loaned to Gençlerbirliği at the Beginning of the Season

The young center-back will continue his career this season on loan wearing the Gençlerbirliği jersey and maintain his performance.
Past Disciplinary Process and Penalty
Metehan Baltacı had been arrested on December 9 within the scope of a betting investigation in football, and was then released at the first hearing of the trial held 105 days later.
Following this process, the Turkish Football Federation Professional Football Disciplinary Board imposed a 9-month ban from football on the young footballer within the framework of the illegal betting investigation. Baltacı's aforementioned penalty was completed as of August 7.
