Galatasaray returns with a defeat from Sporting Lisbon away match
Following Galatasaray's 3-1 defeat to Sporting Lisbon despite taking the lead in their Champions League opening match, the current UEFA country coefficient ranking has been clarified.

In the match played at José Alvalade Stadium, the yellow-reds started well and took a 1-0 lead in the 5th minute with an own goal by Gonçalo Inacio. Sporting Lisbon equalized with a goal by Geny Catamo in the 27th minute, and the first half ended 1-1.
