Galatasaray's Council of Trustees Meeting and Global Sponsorship Initiatives

Galatasaray's ordinary October council of trustees meeting took place at the Özhan Canaydın Conference Hall in RAMS Park. President Dursun Özbek delivered the opening speech of the meeting and answered members' questions during the closing session.

Presentation of Financial Reports

Within the scope of the meeting, the reports prepared as of May 31, 2026, along with the administrative and sporting activities report, were detailed to the council members by accounting member Mehmet Burak Kutluğ.

Global Sponsorship Efforts

Stating that the club's brand value is at a very good level, President Dursun Özbek said they are focusing on global sponsorships to boost revenues. Özbek expressed that a saturation point has been reached regarding sponsorships in Turkey.

Stating that negotiations and efforts with a US firm are ongoing within this scope, Özbek noted that officials from the foreign firm have previously visited Turkey and contacts are continuing.

Opinions and Criticisms of Members

Following the speeches, members took the podium to share their criticisms and thoughts. Member Mete İlkiz stated that the Association's debt to Sportif AŞ should be paid and inventories could be evaluated.

Another member, Ayhan Özmızrak, argued that the number of newly admitted members violates the bylaws and stated that certain individuals should be removed from membership.
