The Göztepe management held official talks with the Eyüpspor management to reduce the 4,000 TL ticket fee announced for the away section. Following these contacts, the club was informed that there would be no discount on the ticket price.

In its official statement regarding the matter, the Göztepe club stated that their requests for a re-evaluation of the prices went unanswered. The club management invited the opposing club to lower the ticket prices to a more reasonable level.
