While a transfer frenzy takes place across Europe, English Premier League clubs draw attention with their high expenditures. While clubs have raised the bar significantly in transfers, London club Chelsea has made the most expensive move so far.

Details of the Most Expensive Transfers

Chelsea paid a hefty transfer fee of 138 million euros to Aston Villa for the transfer of Morgan Rogers. In second place on the list is Elliot Anderson, who transferred from Nottingham Forest to Manchester City for a transfer fee of 135 million euros.

In third place is Bradley Barcola, whom Liverpool added to their squad by paying 125 million euros to Paris Saint-Germain.

Other Notable Transfer Fees

Real Madrid signed Yan Diomande from Leipzig in exchange for 125 million euros. Tottenham paid 108 million euros to Newcastle United for Sandro Tonali.

Additionally, Tottenham transferred Mateus Fernandes from West Ham United for 99 million euros, while Manchester City added Ayyoub Bouaddi from Lille to their squad for 95 million euros.
