MEGA Summer Sports Schools Closing Program Held in Meram
The summer schools, organized under the leadership of Meram Municipality with the participation of thousands of children in 13 branches, concluded with an enthusiastic ceremony held at Dutlu Millet Garden.
Realized by the municipality in Konya's Meram district so that children could spend their summer vacations productively, the MEGA Summer Sports Schools were completed with colorful events after an eight-week training period.
Eight-Week Training Period Completed
Organized with the aim of helping children spend their summer vacations in a healthy and active manner, the MEGA Summer Sports Schools ended after successfully completing the planned eight-week training process.
Throughout the program, thousands of children had the opportunity both to play sports and have a pleasant time during the summer period under the guidance of expert instructors.
Training Provided in Thirteen Different Branches
Trainings were carried out in a total of 13 different branches, primarily volleyball, basketball, swimming, football, taekwondo, gymnastics, archery, tennis, judo, and wushu.
Thanks to this wide range of branches, approximately 5,000 children seized the opportunity to improve themselves in areas of interest.
Magnificent Closing at Dutlu Millet Garden
Following the completion of the trainings, the closing program was implemented with broad participation at the Meram Dutlu Millet Garden Archery Area.
While the happiness of children and families drew attention at the ceremony held in the event area, colorful moments were captured on camera.
Celebrated with Colorful Performances
As part of the closing program, the performances of the Anatolian Caucasian Dance Team gave participants exciting moments.
While 500 red and white helium balloons were released into the sky, acrobatics, fire shows, and the Pixel Cube Show received great acclaim.

Meram Mayor Mustafa Kavuş stated that while touching the present of the children, they are also investing in the country's tomorrow.
Konya Provincial Director of Youth and Sports Muzaffer Çintimar, AK Parti Konya Deputies Mehmet Baykan and Latif Selvi, and AK Parti Konya Provincial Chairman Fatih Özgökçen also delivered speeches during the program.
