The Multi-Purpose Sports Hall, spanning 7,200 square meters of indoor area in the Merkezefendi district of Denizli, has reopened its doors to athletes after three months of maintenance, repair, and renovation work.

Physical Characteristics of the Facility

Located in Adalet Neighborhood in the Merkezefendi district, the facility draws attention with its physical structure consisting of a ground floor plus three stories. Allowing dozens of sports branches to be practiced simultaneously, the structure ranks among the city's most prominent sports areas.

Renovation and Infrastructure Works

The works, which started in June, took approximately three months. During this process, the roof covering of the building was completely renewed, while the wastewater drainage, lines, sewage, and rainwater infrastructure were also strengthened.

In addition, necessary maintenance, repair, and revision procedures were meticulously carried out on the ventilation units inside the facility.

Sports Branches Served

In the hall, which has reopened its doors, training sessions can be conducted in numerous branches such as basketball, volleyball, karate, taekwondo, table tennis, gymnastics, judo, boxing, floor curling, and bocce.

Facilities of the Fitness Center

The fitness center within the facility actively serves athletes for conditioning workouts, special strength training, and programs prepared under the supervision of a physiotherapist for returning from injuries.
