In the incident that occurred on Sevenler Street in Abdurrahmangazi Neighborhood, a dispute broke out between 39-year-old national gymnastics coach Funda Bakış and 21-year-old Zehra G., who was known to have previously worked at her gym.
Stabbing Attack and Intervention of Medical Teams
As the argument escalated, Zehra G. stabbed national coach Funda Bakış in the chest. Despite all interventions by medical teams dispatched to the scene upon notification, Bakış could not be saved.
Debt Issue and Apprehension of Suspects
In investigations conducted by security units, it was determined that the suspect Zehra G. had taken out a loan to give money to Funda Bakış while working at her gym in the past, and that there was a debt dispute between the two for this reason.
Detained Suspects and Criminal Records
A.H.U. and E.Ş., who were determined to have been involved in the incident, were also quickly apprehended by police teams. While the procedures of the three detained suspects at the police station continue, it was learned that Zehra G. has a criminal record for 'Insult' and A.H.U. for 'Intentional Injury'.
