Neighborhood Sports Fields in Batman Being Renovated for Children and Youth
The Batman Municipality is carrying out maintenance and repair work on neighborhood sports fields across the city, making the facilities safe.
With the start of the 2026-2027 academic year, the Batman Municipality is continuing maintenance and repair work on neighborhood sports fields to ensure that children and youth can engage in sports under safe conditions.
Field Scans and Identification Studies
Teams from the Batman Municipality Park and Gardens Directorate inspected all sports facilities across the city to identify areas requiring maintenance.
Following comprehensive field scans, simultaneous renovation work was initiated at worn-out and neglected locations.
Comprehensive Renovation and Safety Measures
Within the scope of the ongoing work, wire fences that enhance site security were renewed, and the surfaces of volleyball, basketball, and football fields were painted.
Damaged sections were repaired by expert teams, making the sports facilities ready for use by children and youth.
Enhancing Sports Opportunities for Youth
The project is being pursued in line with the instructions of Governor and Deputy Mayor Ekrem Canalp to enhance the quality of neighborhood-scale sports opportunities.
Efforts aimed at enabling children to spend their out-of-school time with sports in their own neighborhoods will continue within a scheduled program.
