New Fitness Area Established in Bostanlı as Part of the Sports Stations Project in İzmir
With the new fitness area added to Bostanlı Coast as part of the project implemented in İzmir, citizens are provided with the opportunity to do sports outdoors for free.
The Sports Stations project carried out by the İzmir Metropolitan Municipality has been expanded with the Gym Container placed on the Bostanlı Coast, providing citizens with a free fitness area.
Scope of the Sports Stations Project
The Sports Stations project, implemented after İzmir Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Dr. Cemil Tugay took office, continues to expand its service area with new applications.
Stations located in Kültürpark, Bostanlı Coast, Buca Hasanağa Park, Bornova Aşık Veysel Recreation Area, and Göztepe Coast continue to host athletes.
New Fitness Area on Bostanlı Coast
With the Gym Container placed at the Bostanlı Sports Station, citizens were offered the opportunity to do fitness outdoors and various sports facilities were increased.
Thanks to the equipment in the area, functional fitness studies as well as basic strength exercises can be easily performed.
Free Equipment Provision and Working Hours
Citizens have the opportunity to obtain balls belonging to different sports branches and various equipment free of charge with their identity cards.
İzmir Metropolitan Municipality plans to add container gyms to the sports stations in Buca and Bornova in the upcoming period.
