A new club established to preserve Çankırı's sports heritage and the Ahi tradition has begun preparations to train young talents.
In order to pass on the deep-rooted culture and sports heritage of Çankırı to future generations, the Ahi Wrestling Sports Club has completed its official establishment and begun operations.

It has been reported that the Ahi Wrestling Sports Club was established in Çankırı to pass on the city's deep-rooted culture and sports heritage to future generations. In a written statement from the club, it was stated that the club has completed its official establishment.
Ahi Values and Wrestling
Taking its name from the Ahi tradition, one of the centuries-old values of Anatolia, the club aims to offer children a healthy future by combining the principles of morality, honesty, brotherhood, and solidarity with the discipline of wrestling, the ancestral sport.
Infrastructure and Athlete Development
The statement noted that in addition to sporting success, the club aims to contribute to the development of children and youth, and by building a strong infrastructure, it intends to train athletes from Çankırı who will achieve success in national and international organizations.
Management and Technical Staff
It was noted that the Ahi Wrestling Sports Club, under the leadership of Club President Erdinç Abay, will continue its work with coach Hakan Ocak.
